I recently bought these three unfinished wheel vases from an auction in the UK. There were four in the lot, three medium and one small, but one of the medium vases was destroyed in shipping. At first, I thought these were bisque items, but they have never been fired and are greenware.
Here is the other side of the same vases in the same order.
I have a finished version of one of the greenware vases to show the difference between the unfired and finished item. The difference in size is obvious because the greenware shrinks during the first firing to bisque.
Here is a comparison of the small wheel vases. Unfortunately, I don't have a finished version of the greenware sample, but the sizes of all the small wheel vases are about the same.
